2 pedestrians in China swallowed by massive sinkhole

Two pedestrians were swallowed by a sinkhole after the sidewalk suddenly collapsed in Chinese municipality of Chongqing, according to the state media on Wednesday (July 29). Surveillance footage captured the moment when two pedestrians were walking on the pavement next to a main road before dropping into a deep pit on Monday (July 27) as the footpath caved in. Both survived the accident after being rescued by local firefighters and sent to hospital, and the road was sealed off, reported by CCTV.
