Making plants into art 2
Around 1980, Pearl Fryar began trimming evergreen plants in his yard into unusual shapes. He has continued planting and trimming, often using plants rescued from the compost pile at local nurseries. These evergreens have thrived with Pearl's patience and skill, and have been transformed into wonderful shapes. Today, he and his garden are internationally recognized and people visit from around the world.
